    Problems with activating game codes.

    Hello!

I am having issues with activating three games on my account. the three games are:

Fallout 3 - Code that came with Fallout 4

Farcry - Code with Wild Expedition bundle

Farcry : Blood Dragon - Also with Farcry Wild expedition

No matter how many times I enter the codes, it identifies them then pops an error message after I press confirm purchase saying "Something went wrong, try again." I have tried speaking to a technician to troubleshoot the issue, here is the reference number:[Mod
    Removed]
. They believe it might be a region problem since my account is GB but I now live in Denmark.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thomas

  3. Problems with activating DLC

I don't think you can. It is my understanding that the Games for Windows LIVE Marketplace has been closed. Only those items you have already purchased will be available for download.

You ay wish to post this in the GFWL forums in case the PC experts there have better answers for you than we do here in console support. Here's the link

Do you receive an error code when you try redeeming them? If so, what code are you seeing?

The codes are region locked, so if your Xbox account isn't set up for Denmark, then yes, it would be a region problem.

Hmm. Righto I have changed the region of my account now. So I will see if it works. Seems weird as I have had things work no problem before without issue.

Well. I finally got the fallout 3 code to work. I dug out an old Xbox 360 and the code worked fine on it. However the Farcry ones are still not working. On 360 they error with not being valid, on Xbox one and the website, they are valid but still do not
    work when I confirm purchase.

    This is beyond frustrating now.

One thing that can affect the codes is the region and could invalidate them

If you only change the region of your console like xbox one that doesnt change your account region

To change your account region you must do it on the website under my account and change my region

Ok after a look around I found I am not the only one with this problem.

Is there a fix at all for this? Because buying a game retail and being told the codes have "expired" is really bad.

I believe this has now been resolved. One of the more recent updates accepted the codes on my xbox One.
