Problems with account after changing alias

Greetings! Are you still having issues with the service? Try the troubleshooting below:

• Remove your account.
  • Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select
    Home
  • Highlight the gamerpic in the upper-left corner to open the account list.
    
  • Select your account, press the A button on your controller, and then select
    Sign Out.
• Power cycle your console (Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds)
• Sign back in to your account.

I think I found a solution...

I changed my primary Microsoft Account alias to another address and changed it back to the original one after that.

Then I tried to download my account on my Xbox 360 and then it worked.

Im not 100% sure if the primary alias changing fixed my problem, but may you can give it a try when you have the same problem.

I was having the same problem. I went to:

Settings

Sign in, security & Passkey

Password at sign-in - here I change to "Sign in with password", went back in and change to Save my password.

This fixed the problem for me.

My problem started after I changed my microsoft account alias yesterday.

on the account as a secondary alias after you remove it from the primary alias slot. Once you

change the primary alias on the Gmail account, you will still see your old email address on the list. If the old email address is a Microsoft email address like @outlook or @live and it's removed, the email address will be deleted permanently and cannot
be reclaimed after it is removed. You can assign a third-party email address to another Microsoft account.

In order for you to use your Gmail account as the primary alias of another Microsoft account, you need to remove it from the account when it is a secondary alias. This means removing it as the primary alias from the Microsoft account that has it. The
