Problems with 360 games with Gold in Xbox One

Hey guys, I was wondering, are 360 games with gold for xbox one, region block, because lately I am not able to download the 360 games in my xbox one, like Deus Ex, I'm from Costa Rica, but the region of my Xbox is in the US, my microsoft account and billing
info are in the US as well, and also a few weeks ago I read that even though I have the US region in my Xbox, microsoft recognize my IP as a costa rican IP, so I don't know if that's the root of my problems, thank you so much beforehand.

I am in the U.S. and have had various issues with this on Xbox 360 as well...do you have the ability to redeem the games from Xbox.com?

Hi, when I try to buy a free game (games with gold) from the store, it say's that I don't have a valid payment option, but i have the credit card added and if i try to change the payment option right there in the purchase option,
then start to asks me for my Billing contact information, but doesn't let me change the country/region, it's says Spain (I'm from Chile) and i have in my Billing contact information account a direction in Chile (with the credit card entered)

That would be the root of the problem

If the system says not available in your region it's not available on your region

You are only garenteed content when you have an matching account region to your actual region

That would be the problem. Trials don't change your account status to gold. A full gold subscription is required in order to download the 360 games with gold games. Xbox One games with gold games required a gold subscription to keep playing them for free,
so they can be downloaded with a trial.

It has always been like that not unless there will be an update regarding in redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on the website. Xbox 360 marketplace has a different structure than on Xbox One Store. Xbox 360 games with gold on the website will need a payment
method. In Xbox 360 console, you won't need one. Currently, you can't redeem Xbox 360 games with gold using Xbox One console and still under progress about redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on Xbox One console. Either get the games using an Xbox 360 console,
or get the games on the website with a payment method.

Ah, that could be the problem. Xbox 360 games with gold games are your to keep regardless of your Live status. However, xbox one games with gold require a gold membership in order to play them. Once you renew your membership then you should have access
to the content again.

My account on my xbox one is a child account too and I am having the same problem. I have an xbox one with xbox gold subscription. I do not have access to an xbox 360 so how can I get the free xbox 360 games with gold on my xbox one? I don't have any problem
getting the xbox one games, just the backward compatible 360 games. the message tells me to complete the transaction on my xbox regardless of whether I am on my xbox already or on xbox.com on my laptop. Help please! we want the 'free' games that we payed our
subscription fees for!
