    Problems using Game Pass Ultimate on PC


    Yesterday I bought the Game Pass Ultimate to play Sea of Thieves on my PC. Even though it was added to my account on Xbox (it was bought on another account and is now shared to me via main Xbox), and I was able to download the game on that Xbox, I am
    not able to get the subscription on my PC (using the microsoft account I use on xbox, but not the one the subscription was bought with) to download the game on the desktop-device.

    There is Game Pass for consoles, Game Pass for PC, and Game Pass Ultimate which includes both console and PC Game Pass as well as cloud gaming. Did you purchase Game Pass for PC or Ultimate? If you just purchased Game Pass for console, then you wouldn't be able to use it on a PC.

    Ultimate is not the issue. I'm not sure what is, but Ultimate is not a requirement. Ultimate is a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass for console, and Gane Pass for PC. If you're only using the PC, you only need Game Pass for PC otherwise you have 2 subscriptions you don't need. Sea of Thieves is available on Game Pass for PC and buying Ultimate wouldn't change anything about the game.

    Ok that is the problem, you have the console game pass.

    In order to have it working on PC you would need either the PC game pass or the ultimate game pass which includes both PC and console game pass :)

    Core is for console. You would need PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate if you're looking to use Game Pass on PC.
