Problems since last update...

Hello, i am from germany and i want to report some problems since the last update:

1) My TV-App worked perfectly, but since the last update the sound is juddering and makes cracking sounds (like an old phonograph record). Only the sound, NOT the video. I tried to connect the TV-Receiver (Kabel BW) directly with the TV and this worked
perfectly. I also tried to use other sound-settings, but nothing worked

2) The menu is juddering again, sometimes i have long loading-times when i am opening an app

3) The bluray Player is juddering with every bluray, i tried to use the "24hz" function, but it was not better

4) Some texts are written with strange symbols:

i hope u can fix these problems soon, it is annoying to watch movies or TV like this

Problems since last system update

Hi Guys

well i have issues since the last System Update on my new Xbox 360 Slim with Kinect...

First Problem is that i can't install Games anymore, even new buyed ones...it always stops at 1% and says that the DVD is dirty and it can't read it anymore

Second Problem is that i can't play Forza 4 properly, it freezes always when i want to start a Race...

other Games like Mass Effect 3 are freezing sometimes too, i never had this issue before the System Update...

The funny thing is that i deleted the last update with the Combination (LB + RB + X) 2x and after that i was able to install the Games without any trouble :/

but after the update the same thing happened again...

 

Connection Problems since last update

Hi there! The code 8007274C refers to a problem to the update not processing correctly. Here's a couple of steps to take to fix the problem:

1. Try the update again. Sometimes, it usually takes a couple of tries in order for the download to work correctly.

2. Make sure your connection to the internet and XBOX Live is up and running. To do this, just click on this link:

3. If that doesn't help, you may have to clear your system cache again. To do this, here's the link:

4. If that doesn't work, you may have to remove the hard drive or memory unit. If you are using a memory stick, just remove it from the console, wait for 5 seconds, then re-insert it again. For the hard drive, just click on this link here:

5. If those still doesn't work, you can download the update file by USB flash drive or CD or DVD. Again, to do this, just click on this link:

6. If for any reason your console still doesn't work, just contact Microsoft support by clicking on the link:

I had an issue once where I had audio issues. If I was watching a DVD or BluRay, I would hear music, but not words. I wound up doing a factory reset on my Xbox, and that solved the problem. To perform a factory reset:

Go to Settings on your console (Via whichever method you prefer) > Select "System" > Select "Restore factory defaults" > Select "Yes".

This is an inconvenience, I know, but sometimes this is the only solution.

 

I'm having the same issue, with audio popping and juddering a bit. It sounds like someone who doesn't know what they're doing using a compressor/limiter in the studio, where the background battles with the foreground, with foreground causing background
to drop when foreground voices start up and then letting background come back up after foreground voices pause or stop. There's also some popping in the voices that's odd. And it's only the live tv app. Sound in games, movie discs, and amazon instant video
is fine.

 

Have you guys tried to perform a factory reset?

 

Trying it right now. I'll let you know if it works. It is very frustrating that a system this expensive (price plus xbox gold) would be unreliable to the point that it requires a full factory reset to fix a problem caused by an update that doesn't have
any features I'll even use, and that the ecosystem is set up where if you don't do every update your system won't let you do much of anything with it. It's also frustrating that I was in the beta program, had no problems with the beta releases, (didn't do
this latest one because it didn't have anything I wanted) and now have a problem with the official release. This is the type of problem I expected with a beta version

 

That fixed it. It also ate up an hour I was planning to use exercising. Thanks for your suggestion. I wonder why the update broke it in the first place.

Okay the problems was fixed by Xbox: I am a "beta tester" and when the normally update came out, the TV-Sound problem was fixed, but the bluray still does not work noisefree
