This is really annoying. I get off of work and both times I try to log on to xbox I can't. What am I paying you for?!?

What about some feedback as to wether people should be entering their name details or wait for a fix?!

I'm not getting an error code as stated on the status page just a request to input my first and second name.

How about some info Microsoft!!!

I have been having this problem since Jan. 27. I could not sign in from the 27th-30th. And I can not play multiplayer at all yet. I believe Xbox live needs to tell it customers more than " we are aware and someone is on it ". I think it makes feel lied
to and angry. I waited on customer suport for over 20min twice and never got anyone to help...then they asked me to take a survey.

This issue has highlighted how ridiculous the online requirements for XBOX One are. You can't do ANYTHING without being connected to XBOX Live. Just because XBOX LIVE goes down, doesn't mean my machine should act like a brick. My machine has Internet
just fine, but because it can't connect to a certain server I then can't connect or do anything else. It's ridiculous - glad I realized this now before I went any deeper into making this my "go to" entertainment device - not worth it if I have to rely soley
on MS to keep their service up so I can use this very expensive device I have purchased.

It's sad, because it's a great system - but this locked in to XBOX LIVE to do anything is a killer - just don't have time to put up with not having access to anything for two days - I can't watch HBO Go, I can't play a game on a disc (unless I want to start
over and not be able to save), I can't use Hulu - all those sites are up and working just fine, but because MS gates you with XBOX LIVE I can't access them. I can't get behind a machine that won't let me access perfectly working services because it's own
service apparently is garbage.

Im at the stage that the xbox status page is now one of my most visited websites on my web browser i did not even know it exitsted before i got this xbox one. Yet again im reading the message "Xbox live core services limited", for the second time this week.
I now own a xbox one sized paperweight till its sorted out. Not good enough really!!

I've been dealing with this since the the 27th. this is ridiculous. I would appreciate an ETA on when this will be fixed. I've had xbox live for 10 years and never had this much issues. How about some sort of reimbursement microsoft?

Finally able to sign in as normal, for now anyway!

In way, I can understand that occasionally these things can happen and the frustration it causes, especially at the weekends when most people have free time like myself.

What I cannot understand is the complete lack of communication from Microsoft regarding the request for personal information. How many users will have followed the request and what will be the consequences for these people?

Microsoft knocked it out of the park with the Xbox and the 360 to leave Sony trailing, so much so that I purchased a Xbox One without question and at full retail not discounted because of poor sales.

Events and communication like this are not going to help anyone!

I had the same problem I went to that link and did all the steps the controller update is the one that finally worked,even though it said my controller was up to date I hit update anyways and it worked immediately. Pass it on

have you found a solution? mine is doing the same but it isn't showing the message, the message comes up for less than a second then goes again. I've been trying to sign in since last night. I've done everything people have told me like cold starting it,
resetting it and unplugging everything.

disconnect your internet, boot your console, once booted remove the profile and full shut down. Once powered down reconnect Internet and reboot console and when back up add your profile back

if this doesn't work, factory reset from system settings>console info

i have the same issue on Xbox One X, auto off after 3 to 4 min, did the factory reset, its auto off on 50%, do it few times also auto off at 50%. Then i do the OSU 1, its auto off at 86%.... i only got the OSU 1 file, dont have the OSU 2 file.
