Problems Signing In?

Same problem here. Won't connect me to my WIFI anymore. Keeps telling me I need to check whether I typed in the password correctly. Did several resets of my modem and even changed the password. Nothing helped. This problem has now been ongoing for over 24
hours

 

Man I get so sick of these problems , now I can't sign in it just says try again in a few minutes , come on xbox, sort it out!!!!!!

 

I just did a hard reset of my Xbox. I pressed down the on-button for 10 seconds. After it rebooted (and emptied the cache) it was working just fine again. Hope it works for you all as well!

Followed those steps and it made no difference. Still getting the prompt to enter my first name & surname.

 

Can't sign in at all on xbox one. Error message 0x80048834

 

Yep... having the same issue. My Fiance has her own account and I was able to sign in to hers. Unfortunately mine is not accessible at all. I am unable to use my account or anything associated with my account.

 

Tried the above, no difference. Keeps asking for my first and second name!

What am I supposed to do? Do I enter the info or is it a scam?

 

Does removing an account delete any in-game progress or saves? Other than the power cycle solution, which I've tried, I don't see any other suggestions.

 

I can't log in to XBL on the X1 and get the error code Ox80048834 too, but I'm having no problems with the 360 connecting to XBL. Although this sucks, I'm glad that I'm not the only person with the same problem.

 

Removing my account and adding one solved the problem. I'm back on Live. I wonder if just putting your first and last name when prompted would yield the same result. I had to input my name anyways when I added an account.

 

I just unplugged the power adapter from from the wall after i shut off the xbox. Seemed to fix the problem for me!

 

I was able to successfully sign back in to XBL on the X1 with the hard reset (holding in the power button for 10 seconds, unplugging the power cord, and powering up the x1 again). I was prompted for my first and last name after the X1 powered back on and
after that the console connected to xbox live

 

If you go to the www.xbox.com/status/

you will see there is problem signing in just sit tight the Xbox team is hard at work to fix it.

 

Cannot sign in to XBOX live on my XBOX One either. Keeps asking me to enter first name.
