    I have been having some problems with the app Xbox Original Avatar.

    I can't customize, or change any about it.

    Any advice would be appreciated?

  3. XBOX 360 will not sign on

    Is any body else having problems with this? I have been trying to sign on since this morning and it just stays on the 'signing in..' page.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I'm having the same problem, but only between the hours of 4.30-10pm UK time!

    I contacted Microsoft, who said it would be my ISP, I rang my ISP, who said everything was fine at their end, it must be Microsoft servers!!!!

    So both blame each other, and I'm no nearer to a solution!!!!!!!!

    The s**t thing is, the PS4 has no problems connecting at those times!!!

    Once again, everything works ok on Xbox Live..................... until 5pm UK time, then it just shuts down, and no matter what I do, I can't get reconnected to Xbox Live till about 10pm.

    GET A GRIP XBOX, THIS ISN'T FUNNY. WHAT AM I PAYING FOR, HALF A SERVICE? MAYBE YOU SHOULD GIVE ME A 50% REFUND FOR ALL THE TIME i CAN'T CONNECT.

  7. I am still having sign in issues. Just turned on....signed in...main page says trouble connecting please check status....

    Network settings....NAT Type Open.... Says Service info is unavailable....

    Test network connection...Everything is good...

    Back to main page....still no pins and it asks me to connect to Xbox Live...

    This is so frustrating...PS4 which is also wired into router works a dream as does everything else in house.

    What ISP are you guys with? I am with SKY.

    I'm with Virgin Media, and my PS 4 also works fine. When I told Microsoft that, they said it was because PS4's are pure games consoles!!!!!!!!!!!

    It's all well and good making the Xbox One an all singing all dancing multi-media system, but if it doesn't work half the time, what's the point?

    It is possible that you've received an incomplete update

    due to intermittent internet. I have the problem occasionally

    with Time Warner here.

    The apps that are not working may need to be deleted and reinstalled.

    I know, it's a time consuming pain, but it may help you. Also, the best way to avoid internet

    drops is to use an Ethernet cable. I don't know if you are hardwired or not.

  10. Thanks for the advice...I did a full factory reset...reinstalled everything and still no joy.

    I am hardwired too.

  12. Its reassuring I am not alone but still slightly concerned that noone has a fix and its not a mass problem that the media seem to be aware of.

    I am slightly educated technology wise and am tried the obvious open ports hard reset etc but nothing seems to be fixing it.

    I reckon there is a conflict somewhere between my ISP and Xbox Live...but why is it only for a small number of us.....really weird

    Yeah i have tried the above and it also does the same thing.

    still errors with all of the above at random times. All test come back good and it says service available but still not pulling in pins and such.

    listing all hardware areas to maybe solve a problem here.

    Comcasts Gateway...theirs

    Cat6 cable.

    114mbps down 30mbps up

    ports have been forwarded and have also not been forwarded....but still have issues.

    games seem to work when im in them....but the whole starting up is all wrong. Never connects and i HAVE TO sign in with controller. most of the time THAT fails.

    would it just be better if i got a replacement unit? I know it's hard for your side to justify it but this thread is 5-6 people.....seems easier to get a new console and maybe you guys can figure it out from there. (in house)

  14. The fails also never report anything back...such as an error or time out. The window will stay there spinning for 30mins. or just close out like nothing was going on. I just want to turn it on and play. whether it be netflix or games....or xbox video....just
    want to sign in and go. Main feature is gone it seems....but why for only a small few? does the xbox not report back what it is doing? ( I have have that on) sign in, time to sign it at such and such speed....where things take the longest. Can someone
    look at that and maybe go "it's X"? but we need time to fix?

  15. those with comcast and xbox one, most comcast wireless modems and the one dont get along, you have to hardwire, i still cannot wirelessly connect after months but hardwire fine everytime. I have both the 360 and the one they both connect fine, but whatever
    live issue is going on its keeping my gold account ***, ihave yearly that was paid and receipt in january, should not be saying i dont have gold, lets me connect, all net connections are A ok and fine, but it will not recognise my gold account and even trying
    to repurchase its saying cant have two, this is crazy frustrating, if gold subscribtions is messing up would explain all app issues as they all check for it first.
