Problems playing fortnite

I am trying to start playing fortnite for the first time. However when I go to start, I am told that my account doesn't have all the "permissions" it needs to access fortnite even though I have all my content restrictions turned off and have xbox live gold.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

fortnite loading and rendering problems

I'm just wondering if anyone else on xbox live having problems with loading or rendering problems with Fortnite? I get "for some reason fortnite took too long to start" and the few times I can load fortnite I have all kinds of rendering problems. anyone
else?????

XBl Gold Not Working

I recently bought a 6 month xbox live gold prepaid card ... When i got home a redeemed the code .... no problems... 1 minute later I try playing fortnite and it tells me try gold membership... so i turned it off, restart it and i kep having the same problems

Maybe going into the Fortnite settings and checking which mic it is using? Also maybe check the permissions for Fortnite. I dont play Fortnite so idk if this will work, these are problems I have encountered with other apps.
