Problems playing Fortnite on my newly bought Xbox one x

So... i recently bought an xbox one x, just so that i could play Forrnite without any issues. Before that, i played on a 2 year old xbox one s, it seemed to be woorking quite well on Fortnite until 6 months ago. I use an ethernet cable and do not find any
internett problems. Its like my xbox one x is overcloked when i play fortnite. If there is allot happening inside the game or allot of players in one part of the map, it will start lagging losing fps and start delaying. Does any one know of a fix for this?
It does also seem to be almost lagging when in home menu or when im typing really fast on a message.

btw: i have tried allot of things.

Hi there,

since your xbox is new, perhaps it might be downloading or updating apps/games in the background while you are gaming? if so, you will see it in your download que - this will definitely slow down any game if your internet is slowing while playing fortnight.

I have the same problem on my newly purchased xbox one x. Let me know if you figured it out. Maybe the camera is too old - not compatible with software??
