    I also don't see the payment option, only the promo code

    Microsoft has been disabled dev mode access for regular users due to sadly some of them used this mode to install emulators and not allowed apps in the Microsoft Store.

    Factory Reset when I switch back to retail mode from dev mode

    Hello Realzmg,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    When switching from dev mode to retail mode on your Xbox, you may deactivate your console in dev mode through Xbox Dev Mode app, reset your console and deactivate your console using Partner Center. This is because dev mode allows for the installation of unsupported software and changes to the system that are not compatible with retail mode.

    Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the factory reset or save your data before switching modes. It is recommended that you back up any important data before switching modes to avoid losing it.

    Thanks for your help Ezra. But my problem is not with aliases. My problem is to connect my Xbox to my Partner Center account. I don't know why but the Partner Center took a old alias to the Agreement for Windows & Xbox. And I can't change it in the Partner
    Center. I guess, because of that, I can't link my Xbox to the account because my Xbox uses my new email account. I guess.

    Right now I’m trying to enter the code my Xbox is displaying on the dev mode app on the partner center website in the games and apps section

    However the website is down, stating “Request failed with status code 400” whenever the website is loaded. It’s clearly a problem on Microsoft’s end, and I’ve found multiple boards of people discussing the same issue from the last week or two, indicating this website has been down for some time
