Problems ordering Xbox 1 compatible games

I bought and down loaded mafia 2 with no problems.

Few weeks later when I go to buy another game online,after I agree to the price the page sends me to a screen saying

"Sorry

Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."

I've tried buy about 10 different games with all the same result...

Dark souls code

Two questions:

One: is the dark souls 1 code promised with the purchase of the dark souls 3 deluxe edition coming before the release of dark souls 3?

Two: will the code be for an xbox one compatible version of dark souls 1?

Unless the answer to both questions is yes, i will be canceling my pre order and never ordering from the xbox live store again

To clarify, are you trying these purchases via Xbox.com ? If so, do you see any difference if you try those purchases directly from an Xbox One console?

Lastly, can you let us know what specific games you've seen this issue with so far? Have you been able to successfully purchase any games?

Ive been having this issue as well since May 3rd. I've reached out to xbox support about this dozens of times. They said they are going to look into this. I hope they arent blowing smoke because each time I contacted them it seemed like they were making
stuff up or had no clue what was going on. The only REAL advice they gave me was to use an Xbox 360 which is insane...

1) Since none of those games are backwards compatible, they will not work with the Xbox One. You can find a list of backwards compatible games here - https://majornelson.com/blog/xbox-one-backward-compatibility/
If there are One versions of the games, you would need to purchase that version in order to play them on the One. Any games you do have that are compatible will automatically show up in the ready to install section of your games and apps for redownload if
they were purchased digitally or you would just insert the disc. They can't be transferred with a hard drive.

2) It's not possible to transfer ownership of digital games, so it is not possible to see digital games. Disc games are no problem.

Hello Gamer! Backwards compatibility means the version before the current which for example if an Xbox 1 game is backwards compatible it can be played with Xbox 1 and Xbox 360. Which means a backwards compatible game for the Xbox 360 can’t be played with
an Xbox 1.
