    Problems logging into Xbox live


    I found out I cannot log in since I needed to verify my age.

    Problem is, my microsoft/xbox id is korean and only has option to verify with a korean phone number.

    Now that I live in Germany does NOT help since of course like a sane person I've halted my phone number from Korea since I'm living in Germany for three years now.

    Is there any other way to verify my age?(i.e. send pic of my passport)

    If there is, could you please specify the steps?

    Microsoft/Xbox support are so adamant on hiding their contact info I found it impossible to find their phone number/email address.

    Hey there Lego - Unfortunately due to the randomized information your nephew entered, I believe that the Windows LIVE ID team is correct in that the only available course of action in this case would be to create a new account. I'm sorry we couldn't help

    Problems logging into Xbox Live

    I've tried my wireless and a different cable. The internet is work because I can still run the Hulu and Amazon music apps. Last night I was running the network connection test which showed everything as good but then I would click on Connect to Xbox Live
    and I would get a message I was not connected to the internet. I'm about ready to move all the hard drive data to my external and reset the device.

    Yes, I'm getting the same error. I can't add my account. The screen will show the busy circle and go back to the Who are you scree. I'm about ready to move all the hard drive data to my external drive and reset the Xbox.

    Hi there Primal,

    Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with adding your profile to the Xbox console. I recommend to try:

    • Different Ethernet cable
    • Try using the Wireless network

    If the issue persists, try a different network for troubleshooting purposes. This will help isolate if it is an internet connection issue.

    Try this and let us know the results.
