1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

The system will ask you if you want to run CHKDSK after restarting the system, press Y on your keyboard and then type "Exit" and restart the computer, it will scan in DOS mode.

Games installed from the Microsoft Store or Xbox are installed in the %programfiles%\Windowsapps and %localappdata%\packages directory. Most of the times it is necessary to apply permission to be able to apply some troubleshootings, however, it is very dangerous, as it corrupts and affects all native Windows apps (UWP), since they also use the same directory. Therefore, I will not quote them, as it is not healthy for the system. The Microsoft Store permission is very closed, even to prevent piracy, it doesn't pay to keep messing around, because it always gets corrupted. Basically, we can solve it or not, but it will end up generating another problem. And I imagine it's not what you want.

Based on the procedures you've already applied, I recommend that you recompose your system files. This procedure fixes your Windows files and UWP apps directory, it also moves your user data to a folder called Windows.old on your system drive. It just won't keep the apps installed.
Basically, this steps below:

Download the Windows 10 or Windows 11 ISO (choose based on the OS installed on your device)

-Open the downloaded ISO file;
-Click on the sources folder and run the Setup.exe file;
-After executing, click Yes in the User Account Control box and select the option: No thanks;
-If asked for the product key, select I don't have the product key (Windows will activate with digital entitlement after installation);
- If necessary, select the same edition of Windows installed on your computer, click Next;
- Choose Custom Installation;
- Select the partition and it will present a box stating that it will keep the data in a Windows.old folder and will not keep the applications, only personal ones.

Even if the process keeps your personal data in the C:\Windows.old folder, it is recommended that you back up your files to avoid unnecessary loss. It is worth mentioning that the applications and system settings will not be kept.

Thanks Willie. While I do appreciate your suggestion, I don't feel that reinstalling the system is guaranteed to fix this issue. I'm not even sure what the root cause is in this case. I'll wait for other suggestions.
