Problems installing minecraft on PC

Hi, I have purchased minecraft for my son on his PC however when on the microsoft store and press install and it says ...when your away from your console or windows 10 device, you can still get ready to play you next xbox game. i clicked learn more and from what i can see we have what your supposed to need the xbox app and we are logged into the store so i don't know what the issue is. No interest in doing things remotely tbh. It only shows up as bought on the microsoft store, we downloaded the xbox app on the PC same details and it doesn't show up there. cant find a phone number to call anyone and its doing my bloody head in lol

I would like to clarify, when you check the order history via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders are you seeing Minecraft for Windows or just Minecraft?

Minecraft Launcher is the same thing as Minecraft Java! I have issue with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Not JAVA EDITION). Do you understand this?
When i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on my laptop from Microsoft Store it has the latest version but when i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition at another device (PC) from Microsoft store it stuck on 1.17.10 version and don't updating to 1.17.41 version. This is Microsoft Store's problem, it doesn't updating my Minecraft to the last version on my PC.

P.S PC and laptop has Windows 10.

I dont know why there's no appears the three dots next to the button, but you tried the third option i gave you? try installing minecraft by the official page, or you dont want do that? if that so let me know to try solve your problem with the microsoft store

Thanks for your reply. When I tried the first option, there wasn't three dots to click on and select Manage. I took a screenshot to show you what I see.

I also tried option 2, and it downloaded the launcher again. However when I clicked on "Let's play" it gave me the same error code. So it didn't work.

Any other ideas?
