    Problems installing latest update.


    i'm havīng problems installing the latest update, the process is as follows.

    • Go to settings > system > update console
    • Download update.
    • Xbox reboots and Xbox logo flashes
    • power brick light turns orange and then dull white
    • Xbox does not power back on
    The only way to power back on the console is to pull the plug from the power brick until the light goes off and reconnect.

    Once the Xbox comes back on the update is still available.

    I've attempted to update three times this way and the console attempted an automatic install over night which resulted in me having to pull the power to get it back on.

    Xbox is telling me to get Gold even though I have it?

    this latest update reset all my settings. just had to reboot after getting the update installed.

    August Update Issues (Disc Error)

    Has anyone else had problems with their Xbox One not being able to read game discs since installing the latest August update?

    Xbox Support said the issue has been wide-spread but I haven't seen anyone mention it on forums or articles.

    I too installed the latest update and he the E203....this really sucks for it to be the latest and greatest...my 360 updates all the time with out problems....this needs to be fixed....

    Same problem and solved it.

    Go to system and get the latest update. After installation the games run fine.
