Problems connecting to Xbox LIVE

My console is having problems connecting to Xbox LIVE. I have run through various solutions listed here and none of them are doing the trick. The issue seems to be between the Xbox and the router, since the internet is working on all other devices in my
household. I have tried clearing my system cache and reconnecting to the network and deleting my gamer profile (only to find that I am unable to redownload it. (Error code 80070525 - "Sorry, Xbox LIVE profiles cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later."
After accepting my password and a long attempt to download it.)

Testing the Xbox LIVE Connection shows green across the board. Network, Internet and Xbox LIVE are listed as "Connected"

Finally redownloading my profile has no success. This error appears:

"Some Xbox LIVE content is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. Status Code: 80072ee2"

Anyone have any idea?

I had my brother-in-law (computer engineer) come over and take a look through my router settings and he said there's no reason it shouldn't work. Port forwarding is set up for the xbox and everything.

I'm able to sign in to Live, and open a party chat with friends, but no ads come up, and I am unable to access any of my Live content (Netflix, HBOgo, etc.).

Again, internet works on every other device in the house.

 

Sounds like an XBL problem on your end. Try clearing the cache on your hard drive, then it may let you redownload your account. Those are the only options I can see that may help your situation.

 

Cache has been cleared and profile finally redownloaded (took several tries).

Still having the connection issue.

I'm wondering if the wireless cards in the Xbox S's go bad? Would this cause the connection to slow to a crawl?
