    Is the service alert affecting only battlefield 4 players, or anyone who is trying to use xbox live? I can't sign on andI cant figure out why.

    There could be many reasons you are experiencing connection problems. Try the connection troubleshooters from:

    http://support.xbox.com

    Then browse down to Xbox Live and select:"Connect to Xbox LIVE and troubleshoot connectivity problems"
