    "all my apps are gone after Win update 19 Jan 2018. MSN news, MSN Xbox Daily Mahjong, Daily Solitaire, photo album, camera, Netflix, ALL are gone. I don't even have a Windows Store app

    Why does an XBox One scan networks that it is not a part of? Below is a snip of my firewall log showing an XBox One routinely scanning non-routable private network addresses.

    Unfortunately, as I said in the answer above, for the offer to be able to upgrade to the "Minecraft" from the Disc version of "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" you would have to have played the game for five hours BEFORE Jan. 30th 2018.

    Since you bought the disc in December 2018 (so AFTER the deadline of Jan. 30th 2018), you can't take the offer to upgrade anymore.

    If you had managed to buy a download code instead of a disc, you could probably update.
