power cycle on your Xbox? If that doesn't work I suggest for you to

uninstall and re-install the apps
to see if the issue is resolved.

The Xbox does not play VOB files. support.xbox.com/.../audio-video-playback

It may be that some of your files are unsupported, this page lists the specs of supported files:

support.xbox.com/.../audio-video-playback You will note that it plays MP4s just fine, it just depends on the MP4.

It sounds as if you're doing it the right way. At least if you try playing them in video player. The reason for it not to see your movies is probably due to unsupported encoding. Try with another file and see if it helps. This article tells you all you need

I have just started running into playback problems myself. For months when watching the videos (smart glass) I've noticed some mismatch with the audio, but as of two days ago all videos I watch are playing at a fast forward speed with no audio. This is only
my recent videos, as my friends playback normally. The only thing that I can think of that I've been doing differently, is the amount of videos I've been capturing. It seems where now that I'm doing more capturing there's more problems. Is this a memory or
cache issue? Any thoughts?
