Buongiorno

sono possessore di una copia di age of empires 2 definite edition microsoft e senza problemi ho sempre giocato con amici possessori di copia steam, da due giorni però mi è diventato impossibile giocare con loro, solo i possessori della copia microsoft riescono
ad accedere alle mie partite e solo i possessori di copia steam possono entrare nelle partite create da chi ha copia steam.

Posso avere una soluzione per ricominciare a giocare indifferentemente dalla piattaforma steam o microsoft?

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. Here is a guide to check cross play, were you able to look at the
privacy and online settings? We will give you the
steps to change the exact ones for the cross platform use.

You will go to the Xbox websiteand sign in.
Once signed in, click your picture top right corner go to Xbox profile.
Click on privacy settings.
Once in settings, under the picture see Privacy, Xbox One/Windows 10 online safety. Select the Xbox one/Windows 10 online safety.
You will see you gamertag you are looking for one setting:
The two you want to make sure say allow and everybody are:
1. "you can play with people outside of Xbox live" set to allow
2. Now click on privacy you are looking for one setting:
  
  "you can communicate outside of Xbox live with voice and text" set to allow

have the excatly same problem and that doesnt help. Please advise. We bought this game to play together with friend and not for solo play. Setting here with 5 people and cant play...

Hello

The game is Cross Play with Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC but it is not apart of the Play Anywhere Program, That mean you would need to re purchase the game on the Microsoft Store.

But if you owned the Windows Java Edition of Minecraft before October 19th 2018 you can Claim a Free Windows 10 Key for the Microsoft Store.
