To make sure I understand, you open the app, and then when you attempt to sign in, the screen flashes three times, and then it closes? I just want to make sure I understand the issue and provide you with the best suggestion to see if we can fix the problem. Second, did you perform a clean install of Windows 11 or refresh and keep apps? Let me suggest that you file a bug via Windows feedback. Here is what we need first, and then I will walk you through how to provide us with a bug that we can further look into.

Locate the Xbox App version

• Click on the start menu ( Windows logo in the middle of the taskbar)
  
• Then locate the Xbox app and right-click and select app settings
  
• Under Specifications, you will see Version, and please provide me the version number of the app that you have installed
  

Submit a bug via Windows feedback

1. In the search bar of Windows 11 type feedback hub and open the app
   
2. Select “Report a problem”
   
3. Add [Xbox Forum] in “Summarize your feedback” followed by a feedback summary
   
   1. Summary should be descriptive and fully detailing the error you are receiving. Links redirecting to this forum post will not be accepted and will cause a delay in your feedback submission.
      

Example: [Xbox Forum] Xbox App PC not allowing me to sign in [your forum username]

1. Category, select Gaming and Xbox on the green text below category recommendations. Then on the second drop-down choose Xbox App
   
2. Then choose "Start Recording" under recreate my problem

the xbox companion app on windows 11 no longer streams xbox, this function has now been shifted to the xbox app for windows 11.

I managed to install Windows 10 ARM version following this YouTube video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MLGL0f4gS4

Then after Windows 10 install, I've only added the Xbox Game Pass app.

First, Xbox app seems to be working even worse than on the Windows 11 ARM system (I had errors while trying to get connected which I did not have on Windows 11 OS).

But after a successful connexion, I found out that the 0x00000001 error code Xbox App download issue is still there. So it seems linked to ARM OS versions (tried with Doom 64 game).

There is no xbox companion app for Windows 11. That's a Windows 10 app now defunct in 11.

Please get me another agent.
