problem

i preordered forza 7. then today my game wouldn't start and it doesn't show the game in the store. please help

headset problem

well if you had something that hijacks the audio between the xbone and tv like a pvr or something (mind you it has to support audio out) then you could hook it up to that and just mute the tv whenever you played games. other then that, no not really. I know that we're getting the adaptors from microsoft for getting mic to work with the xbone in march but I dunno if that will affect the game sounds in anyway.

 

kinect problems

Yes, I am having problems with Kinect not hearing me correctly. I'll say stuff like BBC America and it hears ABC Family. Even repeating the command over and over, it still acts a bit crazy at times. I'm going to really sit down and work with it soon. I'm sure it's something I'm not fully configuring.

I've been playing it in the last few days as I got the Ultimate version (up until last night). This evening, I tried to launch, it shows a splash screen and returns to the XB1 dashboard. Apparently, this issue is being experienced by many FM7 players.

 

xbox is working on it now the problem is on their end

 

My understanding is there is a communication issue between Forza and Xbox Live. Since the two are not communicating with one another, the game is unable to authenticate itself and wont run due to being mistaken as an unauthorized version of the game. Welcome
to the world of digital downloaded games and everything being reliant on internet connections rather than hard discs or cartridges or simular type hardware that you simply plug in and play.

 

Xbox Live Social and Gaming services are limited at the moment. This means In-game matchmaking, cloud storage, finding friends, Game DVR, leaderboards, avatar editing, or pictures are affected.

Also, a subset of users will experience issues when attempting to launch or install Forza Motorsport 7.

I just got mine today and goes to splash screen and then back. It isn't on our end. I think so many people have gotten the game that it is causing issues with the server.

 

im having the same problem rn and I am trying to install it again and its not working

 

i just bought forza 7 earlier and haven't been able to download and install the game. The DLCs installed fine. Another game was downloaded and installed fine. Forza 7 is saying it can't access Xbox live. It keeps saying that i'm not connected but I am. Even
now that xbox live services are back up according to xbox.com/status, i still can't get forza 7 to install. Tried resetting. Tried deleting local cache and reinstalling.

So, the problem is on their end. They said they would txt me once it gets fixed, but then they just texted me a little while ago to say xbox live was back up but i still can't install Forza 7.

 

It could have just been a networking issue. Hopefully it works for you now.
