If the date doesn't update automatically it's very likely that you have to replace the CMOS battery, otherwise try to verify the settings:

- Go to "Date and Time" (in Control Panel);

- In the "Date and Time" dialog box, click the "Internet Time tab";

- Click the "Change Settings" button;

- In the "Internet Time Settings" dialog, click the Server drop-down arrow and select another time server. The default value is
time.windows.com, you can try using time.nist.gov;

- Click the "Update Now" button to update your computer's clock.
