Thanks man, Erm sorry to say this but didn't really do much like i have struggles trying to sign in even though i have good connection also achievements and friends still no showing, i have update both xbox one and controller but still having problems
what about a factory reset? im guessing all my data for my games will go? but would it sort out all of the problems completely? any help will be great thanks?

 

Before going that far, just try deleting your account off the xbox and then add it back again. I had problems signing in a while back after I changed my email, after I deleted my profile and added it again all was good.

 

Do you know how to delete and then re download? and do i lose any save data from my games?

also can i ask another question please? im connected to the internet and xbox live. when playing forza horizon 2 and i go to online it says need to check connection or unable to connect even though i am connect to xbox live? any help will do please?

 

Go to settings, then go all the way to the right where it says "remove accounts", there you can select your account. When I did this, I never noticed any save data or games getting deleted, only the profile.

To add yourself back. Home screen, go straight up to the top next to notifications, you can "add new" account there.

About Forza, I know you said your nat is open, could you just double check because it does sound like a nat issue. Failing that, you could try forwarding ports on your router if you're feeling adventuress.

You have to log into your router on your pc, go into it's settings and forward ports to the xbox. If you imagine a router as a mass of roads and junctions, your xbox has to travel up and down the roads and stop at junctions etc... Well forwarding ports is
like adding a bypass or direct route for your xbox so it no longer has to go through all the junctions. Hopefully you won't need to do this though.

 

i see, because i have xbox one and xbox 360. when i go on 360 have no problems what so ever. when i go on xbox one just seems to not 100 % there but i have look into the rounter system and see what i can do

 

Try deleting your profile first. Normally if it says your nat is open you shouldn't have to mess with port's. Just trying to think of things to try before having to do a factory reset. And I know what your saying about the 360 but it was the same with me.

I was just thinking... there are almost always problems when there is more than 1 Xbox on the same network. It used to be almost (if not completely) impossible to get 2 Xboxes
on a network and have open NAT for both. And depending on the router's settings, either the first Xbox that was added to the network, or the first Xbox that gets turned on will get the open NAT.

Within the past few years, there have been some routers that claim to be able to support multiple Xboxes and still have open NAT for each, but not many if memory serves.

Unfortunately, from the problems OP is describing, it does sound a lot like NAT issues. More than one Xbox on the network is going to make it that much harder to get resolved.

 

@Blue. I'm on the BT home hub4 I believe, that copes extremely well with multiple xbox's. I have the X1 and a 360, then there are another 3x 360's of the kid's. I had a D-Link router a few years ago and we had nothing but trouble, very frustrating. Got rid
after two weeks.

 

thanks guys i have both consoles but only turn one on when playing on one dont have both on and my NAT type is open and saying services all available should of got a ps4 at this rate lol

 

Goatsnatcher I removed my account then re signed back in still having problems with friends and that. but now I'm signed in as my name in the top left with 0 achievements but when I go on the app achievements its all there with my actually profile. like
when i sign in it just says Shane.

 

Sorry Shane, I'm struggling to think what it could be. It still sounds like a network problem and not an xbox issue. I just had a look at my own Nat and it's actually moderate now.... But I haven't be having problems which is a little odd. I will have a
search and see if I can find a solution for you.
