Problem with Xbox One.

Hello, I am slightly worried about my Xbox one due to can hardly play with friends. The problem that I keep getting is like if I go on my friends it say can't you show them right now please try later, same if I click on achievements it will say error cant
show you now. same problem when I click on Xbox help or setting just says error? this only started to happening when i upgraded my internet connection, due to old one lagging me out all the time. Same with if i want to join a friend party takes ages and most
of the time can't join. and when i do join cant here anyone at all. also when i load up games on xbox one it always say syncing for data and it takes forever?

so any helpful answers will be great

Sounds like the console may be overheating. Make sure all the vents are free from blockage and there is adequate airflow around the console.

Are you getting any NAT results after testing the connection?

I would power cycle all of your networking equipment and do a reset of your console.

yes bird, not that i have seen. How do i do a power cycle on my networks? and by reseting my console will i lose anything?

 

You power cycle your network by unplugging your modem and router for 30 seconds I believe.

Make sure you unplug the modem or router so no power at all goes to the device. Just flipping the power button isn't going to do it.

When you plug it back in, the device resets itself clearing out any old stored data.

You will not lose any saved settings.

Hello, guys it seems okay but still bugs. Like when I turned my Xbox one it said there "maybe a problem on our side trying to work on it". that means their is a problem on Xbox side? also when i load forza horizon 2, it just says syncing data for forza horizon
2, it just keeps going over and over again any help please?

Go to settings>network and what does it say in the middle. Should be NAT : Open somewhere, or NAT : Strict which is bad

You will ten need to a. open ports to get moderate NAT setting or b. open or put your xbox on other side of a firewall to get open.

 

Good Idea to check if there are issues with Live before you start blundering around in settings. Live is having a few issues lately.

 

there was a DDOS attack last night and it is still causing some glitches should be fixed soon

 

Thanks for the help guys and my NAT setting is open. I think I deleted my cache that's where all of the games data are stored correct? that's probably why forza horizon 2 took a long time to sync then.

Hopefully xbox comes up with new update soon as it is affecting my gaming time

Have you tried a hard reset on your xbox? When you power down your xbox keep your finger on the power button (on the console) until it fully powers off. The light on the power brick will turn orange.
