    Problem with Xbox one x shutting off during game play


    I just had to get an Xbox one x because my old Xbox one's disc drive stopped working, so I went to games top and picked up a refurbished one. I got home and set it up, and installed the new Star Wars game and I couldn't make it past the open scene before it shuts off, this happens without fail every time. I tried to play other games on it and I didn't seem to have any issues until today, playing ghost recon and it just shut down. Is there a problem with the Xbox? It's not too warm, it's in a well ventilated spot. Can anyone help?

    Xbox Series X still shuts down by itself

    This has been happening to me since day one of having my Series X. It shuts off during gears of war 5 and I have also tried everything online. This is a wide spread problem and not due to just data corruption of a single game. This is a prevalent issue all over the Internet. Microsoft should take care to solve this problem when people spend $500 on a new piece of equipment and it shuts itself off while we’re playing. This is not just some random data corruption.

    It always runs hot even while watch Netflix or other format, it only shuts off during those games though now that you mention it. I will contact them thank you so much for your help.

    Assassin's Creed achievements not popping is a known issue. So is the quick resume, that's got some issues too. For now, it's best to save and quit when you want to start something else.
