Problem with Xbox Live

I'm having a problem with my Xbox and Microsoft account, and I'm getting extremely frustrated.

So I get a new Xbox 360 wireless adapter because I want to play Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie on the Xbox, right? So, I try to sign in to my previous three [one I didn't even know existed] Microsoft accounts which all have some problem or another with signing
in. So, I make a new one, set it up, and it will not log into Xbox Live on my Xbox user thingy [on the hard drive with the avatar]. I tried to use an app password and it just would not work at all, same error code. Is it because I already have an account associated
with my user avatar thing? If so, how do I get it un-associated? I just want the Stop N' Swop items in Nuts and Bolts, I don't want to go through this. Please help!

I have only had a problem with xbox live once, and that was with the titanfall launch problems. Other then that live works perfect.

first question are you connecting to the internet with your xbox ? if you are then you need locate the account you used with your Microsoft account email address that can be whatever you use in the past once you get this you need to download your profile

http://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-remove-profile-xbox-360 make sure your console is connected to the internet and is sign out of all account then download your profile.

if you created a new account on the website on xbox.com download it onto the console

if you created it on xbox console you should be able to sign in

if you cant download your profile due to connection error double check for any error codes that pop up

try it yourself

1st step is to clear you cache

2nd step roll back update

Roll back updates

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
2. Go to settings and select System Settings.
3. Select Storage.
4. Scroll down to highlight your memory unit or hard drive.
5. Press the Left bumper, press the Right bumper, and then press
   X.
6. Press the Left bumper, press the Right bumper, and then press
   X.
7. Select Yes.

This will delete any system updates that are saved to memory and then restart the Xbox 360 console. You’ll then be prompted to install any pending updates. Install these pending updates.

3rd step download your profile
