problem with xbox live gold free trail

i currently have received an old xbox 360 from a friend. im switching from playstation and was told that i may get a free trail. i contacted support to try and resolve my problem and i was told that since it was a pre-owed console i couldn't receive my free
trail. i was told to make a post on here in hopes that i may receive a trail.

I bought an xbox with a free game the free game cames with a 2 day xbox live gold trail but when a insert the code it say the code is incorrect.

 

Help with free gold trails

I recently bought a used xbox from gamestop and was informed that i had 3 One month xbox live gold trails i have three kids and i htought that i would be great so i made the first 2 without a problem but when i was making the 3rd it did not give me the opion
for the free trail what do i have to do to get the last free trail???
