Problem with Xbox live connection

more often", how often is often? I'm asking this because you shouldn't receive this error message, or did you use the tracert command (to report the route of each router or gateway, on it's traverse to a host)?

Appreciate if you can take the time to find out if there's any label on this "black box" that spells out the make and model and let us know what you find out.

Do you know the name of the ISP you use, for connectivity to the Internet?

 

When I did it, it timed out nearly every other result, but it wasn't too persistent, so sometimes it would time out twice in a row, sometimes every other time, sometimes it would go through a couple results regularly, and then time out. I don't understand
the second question, so with that, I'm going to take a shot in the dark and answer no.

I've literally scanned this thing over plenty of times, and even tried to put a description of it to google to figure out what it is, or what it does, and so far have found nothing. Just the sticker on it that says: "WARNING! Damage may result from improper
connection." And then arrows directing which end of the Ethernet cable goes where. If I look at the plug that goes into the wall from it, I can see it's a Motorola product, Model PSA15A-295(MOT) And then an input and output number. Other than that, all I know
is that it MUST be connected and plugged in, otherwise I don't get internet access.

I have a local ISP, Fox Valley.
