    Problem with Xbox game bar on PC


    Hi guys,

    I bought a gaming laptop a while ago and started playing with some friends on Xbox. Love the multi-platform set up from Microsoft.

    There is one thing that is starting to bug me a bit. My keyboard doesn't seem to register when using the Xbox game bar.
    I can't type a message or search for a friend/player. Neither can use the Windows key + G as a shortcut to summon the game bar.

    Is this a known issue to anyone? Or does anybody know how to fix it?

    Elite controller series 2 issue

    Strange not having any updates, anyway check if by disabling the Xbox game bar the problem stops happening, for that follow the instructions below, please.

    Go to Windows Settings

    Games

    Xbox Game Bar

    Deactivate it

    Uncheck the box to open the Xbox game bar with the Xbox button on the controller as well.

    If the problem persists, use a cable to plug the controller into your PC, open the accessories application and restore your elite controller settings to defaults, restart your PC and see if the problem persists.

    Go to settings>Gaming>Xbox Game bar and disable

    Then type Xbox Game bar in Windows Bar>right click>apps settings and click ''terminate, repair and restore'', restart your PC, re-enable Game bar and see if that solves the problem.

    I found the problem today but not sure of an "actual fix". I have had this issue since the updates as well, what I think is happening is that the xbox app is trying to over ride the game bar. So basically when you minimize game bar, your pc is trying to give the xbox app control but when you

    re-open your game bar, your pc thinks you want to operate in side game bar and gives mic access back into there. So it keeps switching mic access back and forth. Its funny i uninstalled the xbox app as well as uninstall xbox app overlay and now my game bar works fine with no gold triangle. When i redownload either of the 2 apps the problem comes back. So the problem is in the apps I think
