  1. Problem with xbox 360 power supply or hdmi port, not sure?

I'm trying to hook back up an old xbox 360 again to play some games I have, and when I went to do it I was missing the part of the power cord that connects from the wall outlet to the power supply brick. I was looking around and found a cord that fits into
the brick, but it is not a snug connection but the light on the power supply still comes on green and the xbox 360 does power on. The problem that I'm having is that no image is showing up on the tv screen. I know the hdmi cord that I am using works, and
I know that my tv is works and that it is on the right input channel. I was planning on purchasing a a/v cable this afternoon to see if I could get an image to show up using that instead of hdmi. Before I do that though, is there any reason using a different
cord to connect from the wall outlet to the power brick as I am doing would have any negative effect?

    :)

Third Xbox having the 3 red leds on!!! HELP!

Honestly selling your xbox for spare parts is very bad advice when you don't even know the problem yet. I would need a little bit more information. Do you have an original XBOX (without an HDMI port). If it's not an original XBOX (which I doubt it is), then
the problem could be something as simple as a faulty power supply. Three flashing lights means that your power supply or original Xbox 360 console is experiencing a hardware failure. So like I said on the PM please start up that XBOX and look at your power
supply and let me know what color it is. Green, Red, Orange, not lit.

    XBOX One No Signal

Hi, is the Xbox button on the Xbox lighting up white, what colour is the light on the power brick ?

Could you also try a different HDMI cable as sometimes even though a cable works fine with one device it may not with another. Also double check the HDMI cable is in the HDMI port nearest to the power lead on the Xbox.

If you're using a power surge protector or power extension lead then please try connecting the Xbox power supply directly to the mains power outlet instead.

Hi, the power chord shouldn't cause this as it just a standard kettle lead as we here UK folk call them.

It may be that the xbox is set to an output resolution that the TV doesn't support.

If you power the xbox off, press and hold the large button in the centre of the controller, as soon as you hear the xbox starting up let go of that button and press and hold Y and the right trigger button that should reset the display settings.

    See how that goes please

  5. I had this same problem with an older X-Box. I had the A/V settings on hdmi and when i tried to use the standard video cables there was no picture. It was really aggravating until i was able to get to a tv to switch the setting to standard AV. so this
above guy should be the solution as he is correct. I hope this helps you out.

My Xbox one dont show en image

Resetting console power supply and then turn on TV before turning the console back on may resolve your issue. Check
the Source with your TV remote and make sure you're using the correct HDMI port.
