Problem with XBox 1 controller

so i was playing a game when the left stick (ls) got stuck. i died and and threw the controller and then it broke. i threw it away because i couldnt use it anymore. i hope maybe i could get a free one.

1 Elite controller.

And no problems.

Bought an Xbox 360 controller mostly every year because of thumbsticks deadzone problems.

So for me,the choice is easy.

Not unless it is under warranty. They probably require that you to return the old one.

If you have not thrown it away, you could use the devices on microsoft.com to check warranty status and send it for repair.

I have an Xbox 1 s and a wired headset but my controller is a series s controller. I have tried with a different controller which is an Xbox 1 controller and it fixed the problem. However that isn’t my controller so I still have the same problem.
