    Problem with wifi connection after last update.


    Just wanna share that Im having this problem after the last update with the clubs and stuff. Im playing offline, and when I try to change to online on the configurations, its giving me this problem about not connecting to DHCP server. At least Im being able
    to solve trough a hard reset.

    I never had this problem before and other electronics are fine connecting to internet, so I know the wifi is not the issue, but I dont know if this is something temporary and to related at all to the last update or if it is related. Anyway, just wanna share..

    Why when i test my xbox live connection does it say its working, but it doesn't?

    How are you connecting to the internet? Are you using a wired connection, or a wireless (WiFi)? I had a console where a WiFi connection would give me occasional problems, so you would want to check that out.

    Xbox One Losing Connection to Wireless Network

    Tried switching my gateway to bridge mode based on advice on another topic. Still nothing. Very hesitant of trying to connect directly to the gateway. The problem definitely cropped up after the last update, and I'm pretty sure that "boosting" the controller
    connection times probably gimped the chips allocated wifi power somehow. Who knows. Was working fine before update, now broken.

    I have a similar problem i connect to live fine then within 24 hours my speed drops to ridiculous low levels to get it back to normal i have to reconnect to xbox and enter my wifi password. Then it speeds up again everyday. It was perfect since day one
    now this, microsoft *** up the wireless driver with this update. Please fix it soon.

    Try resetting your home network and try reconnecting again. If possible, would suggest using a Ethernet cable for a more stable connection. Let me know how this goes.

    I had the same problem, I did a system hard reset. You know, holding down power on the front of the machine, then unplugging the device, waiting 30 seconds and plugging it back in and starting the machine. This strikes me as ridiculous considering this is
    the solution for the PREVIOUS update and now this nifty new update coms out and breaks my Wi-Fi … Now I have to do a Hard Reset for two issues? Either these updates are being shoved out the door with little or no testing, or the coders at Microsoft are flaming
    idiots. The fix for the previous bug is not fixed yet, and now we have another one. This crap is getting old.

    I'm having the same issue, can we get a response? When I start My Xbox it shows no SSID for my network (even though it shows up in the connections list), and won't send a dhcp request (checked router logs), and then says it can't connect to Xbox live. It
    then assigns itself a default APIPA ip. After going into the advanced network settings menu and back out, it then sends a dhcp request and is assigned a valid ip address. I HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY TIME. AND DON'T TELL ME TO TRY A FLIPPING RESET OR A POWER CYCLE,
    GIVE US A REAL ANSWER AND FIX THE SOFTWARE.
