    Problem with USB HDD since October update


    Hi.

    Since the october Update my external USB HDD from Seagate did not go in sleep mode when i turn off the xbox one x.

    i already do a power cycle and a soft reset. nothing helps ! I also selected the point in the settings that the HDD should be turned off when the xbox

    are in sleep mode.

    Before the Update there was no problem !

    Btw. Where are the German Forums ! ?

    HELP, my hard drive shows everything as 0kb even though it shows my HDD being nearly full!

    I tried all that but the main problem is there is nothing in the HDD to delete.... Everything said 0KB... Clearing the cache doesn't help and I tried to do anything with the HDD and nothing... I was able to use a USB...

    Plug in USB then format USB to Xbox.

    Connect to net and download update.

    Finished with update download profile.

    Move profile from USB to HDD.

    (My problem is I cant move my profile over just like I couldn't download it into my HDD in the first place)

    Problem should be fixed now.

    External drive keeps ticking on and off

    Hi

    I've noticed that as well with my external hdd keeps coming on then off as doesn't go sleep now since the October update and all my games are updated on my console so it doesn't need keep ticking on & off. I've tried the options that said on here try sort
    it out on my thread done about it so far nothing works for this. I'm now thinking the October software update has effected the usb plug & play to why external doesn't go sleep anymore.

    I've got same problem myself since that update with my Seagate hdd can check though mind what they have replied about it as upto now I've still got that problem hdd won't go to sleep

    Error Code (0x8082000c) backwards compability

    Same thing is happening to me with digital games.

    And many others report same error in this forum and on reddit. Seems like it is a problem with the October-Update, which is still present in the November-Update.

    I tried to format the HDD and install the August-Update via a PC, but there seems to be a problem with my USB-stick. Need to investigate further.

    *FIX* Disconecting from Xbox Live when starting game *FIX*

    Also check to make sure the hdd storage device is not the problem. Boot the console from a usb storage device and reapply the update. Once the update is reapplied plug back the hdd.
