    Problem with transferring gamertag to another account


    Hello. I am encountering an well known problem and cant find a solution by the support. I originally had my ms account connected with my gamertag. Fine till here. I tried once and linked my gamertag with a ''dummy'' ms account (regret it, believe me!). Things
    got worse when accidently i generated a new gamertag to my basic ms account. I followed the instructions, created a 3rd ''dummy'' account, transfered the new gamertag there, and ofcourse i waited for more than 30 days. Now my main account is gamertag-free.
    BUT, whenever i try to link my gamertag from the first ''dummy'' account to my main one, it keeps sayin ''sorry, we cant change your account right now''!! Customer service didnt help. Any suggestions??

    Impossible to change Microsoft account linked to my Gamertag.

    I'm having the same problem, I want to transfer this gamertag to another email. The only problem is while trying to transfer I accidentally created a gamertag on the email I wanted the gamertag to be transferred to. So I followed the directions on the transfer
    gamertag website. The email I now want to transfer my gamertag to is gamertag free, but when I try to transfer now I get Status code: 8016FE6D.

    Actually, game saves are also linked to each account and can't be transferred for use on another account. No other gamertag can access a save made by another gamertag.

    Once a gamertag has been taken it can not be transferred to another account.

    You would have to make a new account with a new gamertag.
