Problem with the xbox one new update.

My problem is not related to that but it could help resolve. I was part of the the preview program (the W10 preview program). Everything workes fine until yesterday. I was promted to make a 3.4 Gb update.

I did the update, i downloaded the first 3Gb very fast (i have a very good connection) but he took like 1hours to download the last 20% (i don't know if it was downloading, but it was slowly progressing and saying that "5xx mb remaining") so I let the console
run and left.

After that, my console restarted, and i had the usual "Applying Update" screen, with the green bar progressing.

When the green bar reached about 70%, the screen when black and i got this error :

I contacted the XBOX ONE support, and he said "you are in the preview program you should post on the forum", but I asked them a way to hard reset the console.

I followed this "tutorial", everything lookedfine, i was again prompted to select my language, lesect my country, etcetc... BUT after the setup, i'm ALWAYS asked to make the update of 3.4Gb or turn of the console.

I tried twice to redownload it, and it goes in the exazct same loop as I said above. The error screen.

Now, how can I fix that infinite loop?

There was a problem with update

Brand new xbox one. Setup was good. Entered langauage, country. Tested wired, wireless connections. Both were good. Got error message: There was problem with update. Tried offline update. After applying update from USB drive, it was time to update again.
I got same error message: There was a problem with update. Help. I need to get past this initial update to use my Brand New Xbox one

Hello Guys how you doing so am a preview member and 2 days ago we got 1806 update

so after installing the update i got this problem in the dashboard and it says " There's a problem getting this content right now."

I ran network tests and everything is Ok i can watch Mixer Netflix Youtube etc..

but i can't play games it says you should connect to the internet !

HELP ME PLEASE

it really is the best place to get info and help with the preview program, if you get "group not found" reply back and a staff member will check and sort your access.

In the mean time, try taking the update again but unplug any USB devices you have connected eg: kinect, external HDD. Also remove any disc from the drive and don't touch your controller while it's updating.

thanks for the answer.

I posted in booth forum, i don't think the problem is related to the preview program since the console is now hard reset to the factory default.

I have no kinect/USB key/controller or other stuff put on the console when I do the update :3

Anyway, i contacted the chat support and they said i have to replace the console (which i don't want to do Halo 5 IS SOO CLOOOSSSEEE xD). Will try some more manipulations before doing that.

 

If you haven't already, something else to try if an update fails is turning the console off and unplugging it for 5 minutes.

Sorry you're having issues with a Preview Update. As you're in the preview program this would best belong in the Preview Forums. Follow the link posted above and follow the answers given there. Also that said, the E100 error usually requires a Offline System
Update or a Service. I would suggest letting the mods and community in that section help you with this.
