    Problem with the Xbox One Headset


    I and some friends who use the headset for communication , we had the same problem with the headset. After about three months of use the Headset submit a defect , I can hear what others say but can not speak . I'm making this post because I thought
    absurd one headset that comes with the Xbox One has such a defect with only three months of use. Many of my friends , as I performed the repair and continued to use the headset , and others bought new , has one that bought 3 Headsets , and they showed the
    same defect after a short period of use. I think that a product with the Microsoft brand should not be of poor quality as these headsets seem to be. I hope that in the future , the accessories that come with the Microsoft consoles have a higher quality than
    what I saw on the Xbox One cases.

    Sorry to hear about the headset problem, have you tried this guide for troubleshooting yet?
    Xbox One Chat Headset Troubleshooting Sometimes it can help with the issue. Which headset are you using with the console as well?

    Hey there Michael,

    Sorry to hear that your son is running into problems with the headset. Is he attempting to use the same headset at both locations or is it different console, controller, and headset?

    If he is using the same controller or same headset at both places then it is possible that the device itself could be the problem.

    Take a look at the following support articles for helpful troubleshooting steps.

    Hey there MJ!

    Sorry to hear that you guys are experiencing difficulty.

    It could be a couple of things, depending on the brand of headset. Generally, the steps outlined in

    Xbox One Chat Headset troubleshooting     would help with resolving most headset problems, so I would try those out if you haven't already.

    Also, if it's some third party headset, it might help to get a Xbox One Headset Adapter, as it was designed to help with compatibility problems of any sort.
