Problem with the update error 0x8B050084

I had reset my Xbox because I was having issues with it and when I try update the Xbox it just says “there has been a problem with this update” with the error code 0x8B050084 but I cannot do anything from here because if I press “try again” it will still show the same message, when I press “check connection” it says which network I want to connect to and when I put in my internet details it says “restart wireless, there may be a problem with the wireless hardware” and I cannot reset it because there is no option to and the other option is to turn off the console which obviously turns it off and I’m stuck on this screen now and I need help

Hello There ! you have to update it.

You seem to have interrupted it so now you need to go download the update on a USB flash drive.

The instruction and file is on the support page. I dare not link it as the new forum is kinda whacky.

I did so i did the factory reset i have not had a problem of it turning back off but it still is stuck in the set up mode trying to update but still lacks a wireless receiver. my error code is 0x8B050084 0x00000000 0x00000201

Thank you, Anderson. The console is connected to the router using an Ethernet cord. When I test the network connection, it says it’s all good and connected. However, when I try to update the console, it says “There was a problem with the update. You need this update to use your console, but something went wrong.”

Didn't help. Still getting error code 0x8b050084 0x00000000 0x00000201.

I have the exact same problem right now, with my Xbox one, and also with Battlefield 1.
