Problem with the region.

Hi! My sister was joking with me and messing around my xbox live account and she changed my xbox region. I'd like to change it back to the previous region but it says there's a cooldown of 3 months, but i don't have 3 months and also this wasn't made by
me. I'd like the xbox 360 support to help me fix this issue, thanks.

The word you are looking for is matter.
And it does. You agreed to MS's Terms of Service of which states you will not create a false identity to mislead others. In your case you are misleading MS to think you live elsewhere so you can gain access to their otherwise unsupported service from your current
location.

So what that means is if MS decided to they could end your account and/or consoles access to their service. There are many reasons why XBL is not allowed in every country and those would be international, copyright, licensing,
local and government laws. The latter two play the biggest part in that decision.

The region problem

Hi there, this letter is suppose to be for the Xbox managers.

I'm here to tell you about the problem with the region purchasing support. I'm from Israel but since xbox live service doesn't support there i had to say that i'm from somewhere else (U.K but it doesn't meter). This isn't the main problem, the problem is
that I cant purchase anything, EVER from the xbox marketplace, and I will NEVER be able to enjoy the discounts for a gold membership. Even if the xbox live support will support Israel, I still cant change the account region and I will have to create a new
one after all I did, and all the effort I put in.

Well, to sum up I hope you really gonna read this letter carefully and put your attention to it. Thank you and I will be happy to hear from you (my email: [MOD REMOVED])

Sorry to hear it. However, there is no workaround for this. You'll have to wait the 3 months before you move your gamertag back to the same region that you live in. During that time I would recommend password protecting your account so your sister doesn't
do this again.

Hello,

The account migration will let you migrate to any region as there are a lot more Microsoft services that are in many different countries. You'd need to do some checking to find out if your country/region is a LIVE enabled region by looking at the list of countries
here.

Unfortunately, now that you've changed your region to an unsupported LIVE region you'd need to wait 3 months before you're able to change regions back. There's unfortunately no way to speed this process up.

but all the games sold in indonesia are all in NTSC, well most of them…

so i can play it as long as it's NTSC? there's no regional encryption or anything on the console or the games?

Right, Content is region specific and your IP is a digital footprint of where you live so no matter if you lie about where you are at or not you will not be able to download region specific content at all because xbox live is not supported in your region
hence there will not be any content for your region. A quick google search shows many petitions to get xbox live in Israel you could sign one of those and hopefully in the near future you will be able to have xbox live in your country.
