problem with the offline update

Yes i had the same problem one week ago.I solved it with offline update after many attempts.Today i have the same problem,the update stucks at 58%.At troubleshotting page i dont have the option for offline update.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

If none of that works you will probably need to contact
Xbox Support and set it up for a repair.

We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused but rest assured we are here to help.

We would like to troubleshoot the console itself a bit more in an effort to clear this up we suggest a full reset of the console from the Troubleshoot screen by using these steps :

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
4. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
5. Continue holding the BIND and
   EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

Once the troubleshooting screen comes up select reset console and then select reset and remove everything. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes.

If that action is unsuccessful, I would advise that you Set up a repair for this device as it could be an issue with the consoles HD that is causing these issues.

I have an issue in which my Xbox just displays a blank screen. I have tried the emergency offline update but when I should be hearing to power on beeps it just plays either the disc eject beeps over and over again or it plays the power down beeps over and
over again.

you^ll Need to Format on NTFS and copy the Folder &System to the root of your 2GB USB Stick.

Not the whole OSUDT Folder. only the included System Folder (which has maybe 6 files in it)

You^ll Need power downplug out powersupport plug back in, plug in USB and hold Bind and eject than short press power.

I^ve done it yesterday it is a bit tricky. May you can use Youtube to get Infos...
