Problem with the game freezing

Does your XBOX360 freeze?

I faced screen freeze problem 2 or 3 times, and it was because of the faulty game discs. But there are some other reasons that make your screen freeze while playing. Overheating is a most common reason. You may have a look in this article that explains it- Xbox Freezing Solutions.

Starting and stopping during gameplay

I'm having the same problem with freezing & starting again during game time. Is it the disc or servers?

I had the same issue with my original world, doing a bit of renovating and broke the block that had the map in an item frame and completely broke my world. Seem like there is a bug with the new update and having maps in item frames and trying to remove them,
I'd hold off trying to take the map out of the item fame for now until they release the bug fix.

I had the same issue and decided to avoid breaking the frames for a while. Then three creepers [tag:rekt] my *** at the same time and now I can't play more than 3 seconds after loading before a total crash because one explosion broke the block the frame
was on. Pls fix.

This is a confirmed glitch that should be fixed with the next bug fix update.

Is this the only game you are having this problem with? Try playing other games to see if this freezing is just attached to Black Ops. If other games freeze as well, it could be a laser problem.

I only began having freezing problems after I installed the game to the Hard Drive. Going to uninstall to see if this corrects the freezing problem

Ok, guys and girls, I solved the problem! For me the problem was when the bomb explodes, I got a freeze with white screen and needed to power down and restart X360. I deleted the game and redownloaded.

The same thing happened. Freeze after bomb explodes. But then I let it be on and after approximataley 5 minutes the game continued and I got no more freezes when hitting the bomb! Have been playing for 1 - 2 hour more and no more freezing at all. Also
restarted the game - no more problems.

Problem solved!

Easy Shadow

When you go to host a game click on the mission select and choose Valiant Hammer, you will lose your checkpoint but should still get achievements and challenges and such after completion. If you have already done this, try having your friend host, and just
a P.S. when you choose mission select on the level prior it doesn't automatically select the next mission like it would regularly, you'll have to manually click on the mission next. Hope this helps a little :/
