    Problem with the family settings


    I changed my daughter's account to be an adult and the next time I logged on and tried to check family settings it was turned off. It now asks for a password and I never gave it one. Is this normal? My daughter doesn't live at home and therefore does not
    have access to our Xbox. Because all the accounts are now adult accounts is this why the family settings turned off on their own. Also my account has a credit card associated with it and I want to know if my sons account on the Xbox 360 can access it since
    family settings are no longer enabled or is it still only accessible by my account

    Problem with the family settings

    The family settings on our Xbox have been set to allow 'unrated content'. However, when anybody starts up an 'unrated' game, the family settings passcode still needs to be entered to allow access to the game. This should clearly not be the case.

    Has anybody experienced the same issue? Did you figure out how to solve it? Does anyone know how I can set individual games to not require passcode entry?

    Hi DJ,

    That is kinda funky. Have you tried removing the passcode completely?

    As for setting a passcode for individual games, that is not possible. It is either all or nothing. Here is our Xbox Parental Control support
    article if you have any questions on the passcode.

    Let us know how that goes, or if you have anymore questions.

    oh Tuff one! Each 360 has a different set of codes to try resetting them. i am sorry i cant suggest much of anything to you due to my Guide rules! but i can suggest you to call Xbox Support at 1-800-4MY-Xbox and Explain your situation and they can help you
    locate which is the right button combination for your Xbox to Reset the Parental settings! thats all i can do for you!
