Problem with the Console

For some strange reason when I boot up my xbox it goes like normal but when I press something the whole screen goes black. When I would like to start a game or an app if I press the button to start it doesn't do anything for like five minutes then it shows
its picture but it freezes on it. If I would like to quit that game (or app) I press the xbox button on the controller and the screen goes black again. I have spoken with two Microsoft assistants and they couldn't solve the problem. The only way I can use
it normally is that every time I turn on my xbox I have to factory reset it. I am a Preview member so if Microsoft could send an update to fix this problem that would be fantastic.

When I want to buy a game from the store I got a massage says "The version you have now is out of date" So, I checked for an update yet isn't available

Yea take it back to Game; my wife got mine from Littlewoods and I couldn't be arsed going through all the hassle with them so just went to MS directly.

I cleared cache when i first had the problem with watching DVD's but a week later the problem seems to have got worse, I could ring support and get it sorted that way i suppose but I still have 2month on my warranty from the shop so should be able to go
tomoz to Game and get it sorted a bit quicker shudnt i?

Hello, Please un-plug Your Xbox Console from all power sources for 30 minutes and then plug it back in and attempt to turn it on again. If this issue continues to happen feel free to reply and I will get to you ASAP.

Personal preference really & depending on the space your going to put the Xbox 360 in, I've got 2 consoles (Original & S model) myself & have both positioned vertically, never had any heating issues or any issue for that matter, you decide as I don't think
there is any compelling evidence that suggest's one way is better than the other, just remember not to put them in confined spaces or block the fans/vents airflow.

Also there is no need for extra fans, they do more harm than good.
