    I have a question the people that are pushing us out of our spots that are teammates that is called trolling and thinking you're funny and hilarious and getting a skilled what's going to be done with them because I file complain on at least I know

    While this is a real problem, there is the bigger one to be aware of. When enough negative reports are made MSLive offers a free gamer tag change (why I have no clue). The player you report and DO NOT PREFER to play with changes the gamer tag and now is
    paired back in matches with you. This leads to another DO NOT PREFER and negative rep which results in yet another gamer tag change free of charge. MSXBL needs to take this to the next level of preference control, block the account not the gamer tag from
    being paired with players who do not prefer to play with unsporting trolls.

    Hey there

    Welcome to the forums

    Please can you not post support reference numbers out on these forums. These are classed as PII. As for your question, have you changed your gamertag before?

    Also, you can change your name through your profile and through the xbox.com website. Simply click onto your Xbox Live Name on the top right hand corner of this website. This should take you to your profile. It should also include a picture of your Avatar.
    Bellow your avatar, you will see some options. Click onto the 'Edit Profile' option, and this will allow you to change your account information, including your Gamertag.

    When changing your Gamertag, you may have to pay £8.00 to change it. I don't know how long you have until the free name change ends. However I don't think it will last for 6 years though. However I might be wrong =/

    Your new tag is coming up here on the forums. Try removing your account from the console and re downloading it to see if that updates it.

    why?

    there is no appeal for game tag changes if it violates the COC it gets changed just change it to something that does not violate the rules and there will be no problems. oh and based on your current tag, you DO realize it was not the moderators that made
    you change the game tag it was the PET (policy enforcement team) so by making your tag say the mods suck is not really accurate as they did not make you change it.

    When it comes to gamer tags, there was a change in 2019 that made tags simpler. However, with that change players will get an OG tag and a new one depending on if the game supports the new tag system.

    Thankyou for your reply ..yes I've done this to no avail I only bought the prepaid card a couple of weeks ago

    And then I changed the game tag and then the problem started .i can still log into my live account and it says everything is working ok it also shows my new gametag on login so it's all gone thro ok...it seems like it's not allowing me to use my prepaid
    gold membership with this gametag . Thanks
