Problem with system update

I've received a system update but whenever I try to update it tells me there was a problem with the update, I've restarted the console and update and it did the same thing then I factory reset the console and it still did the same thing please help

Problem with system update

The update could not be downloaded from Xbox LIVE. Try the following:

Try installing the update again.

If you’re having problems connecting or staying connected to Xbox LIVE, see

Note You can also update your console software by copying the update to a USB flash drive or a disc and then applying it to the console. See

Problem with system update

so i download black ops 2 today, and was soo excited to play when i go to update my black ops 2 since i havent played in so long the update freezes halfway through, so i tried alot of stuff and eventually ended up ( left bumper, right bumper, x, left bumper,
right bumper, x) after this i tried to system update and again the update freezes 1/4 to half way through every time

Can you please try carrying out an
offline update to your console as guided here. Please note if your console is in the Xbox Insider program then link I have posted may not work for you and you will need to post this in the

Xbox Insider forums for help.

Have you tried clearing your cache.

Sign in on your console and on the 'Home' hub of the dashboard and scroll to the far right, then select the 'Settings' hub.

Then select the 'System' tile in the upper left.

From here scroll down x2 and select 'memory.'

Highlight the HDD and press 'Y', then select 'clear system cache.'

(A message will pop up saying 'This will perform maintainance on your xbox 360 storage device, do you want to continue?'

Select 'Yes.'

Now that you've cleared the cache, pop a game in your console and install the update when prompted. You will need to

perform this for every title you play after clearing, but it should only be the once per title now (unless future

updates are released)

"Reset this console" option via keep games and apps usually works and you don't need USB flash drive for this step! Please tell us what happened.
