Problem with static in my mic

Ok, when I talk with my partners in a party they always tell me that they hear me with statick and loudy noises. I already check my mic and there is no problem.

Anyone knows what is happening?

Static in Mic

I was in a party chat with my friends and each of them was saying my mic had a lot of static feed back. i tried to unplug it and plug it back in and it didnt work. then i turn my xbox one on and off again, and it didnt work. can it be my controller?

Headset Issues

I am having an issue with the headset provided with my Xbox One. Once the headset is properly connected to the controller I hear nothing but static in the ear piece. My friends in party chat also say they hear me outputting static. The problem is not party
chat itself, as I am able to communicate just fine with the mic on the Kinect. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I have the same problem now. It's been new to me over the past couple of days. I tried skyping a computer and found out that the static starts every time the cord is bumped, even though there's no damage to my headset. I also tried it on another controller,
and that didn't fix the problem. It also kind of bugs me that the warranty for accessories is a mere 90 days, so I'm just barely out of warranty for the headset included with the Xbox One.

So I called support on the phone and they sent me a free replacement headset. I was a little worried because of the short warranty on accessories, but the support guy was really cool about it. I've actually been pretty impressed with Xbox support lately.

One more thing, when recording videos with my microphone on, there's a static noise in the background, but when talking to my friends through the same mic it's clear. Can this problem have anything to do with the input lag. And this is just a small detail, no need to start helping with the static noise, just a detail, or maybe a clue.

Got a new mic and all is well. The problem was the wire inside the plug, when I moved it, I was told it made even more noises. The design of the headphone plug doesn't give you a place for your finger to pull it out by the plastic, and you wind up pulling
on the wire, and pull it loose.
