    I am having a problem trying to edit my avatar from following page.

    Sign in to your Microsoft account

    On every single one of my computers all I get is a button telling me to install Silverlight, which is already installed, I have uninstalled and re-installed, but doesn't help.

    I have tested this from multiple computers, from my Surface 3 pro and from the xbox 360 itself, all of them have the exact same problem.

    Xbox support refuse to accept that there is a problem on the site, and say there is a problem on ALL my computers and my xbox and my tablet, which is of course a ridiculously impossible coincidence..

    Could others please check and see if you are having the same issue please, then at least xbox support will have to take the issue seriously if if it not just me reporting it.

    I can't complete some functions when in xboxlive.com due to a weird Silverlight issue.

    Uninstalled everything "Silverlight," cleared browser, and restarted PC. Then downloaded the plugin and SDK, installed both, and went to xbox.com. Same problem :/ Using IE9, compatibility mode messes up too.

    No, I cannot use the xbox.com Avatar Editor, as I use a Mac computer, and Silverlight will not work with it. I thought I could use Internet Explorer on my Xbox to log in here and use the editor here, but oddly enough, Microsoft Silverlight is apparently
    not compatible with the Microsoft Xbox. Go figure, huh? If Microsoft could set up Xbox.com to fully function within the Internet Explorer on the Xbox, then I would just hop onto the Avatar Editor there.

    Sorry to hear it. Which browser are you using to access the page? If you're attempting to use Firefox, Chrome or another 3rd party browser and are experiencing this issue are you able to try Explorer to see if it works there?

    Problem seems to be widespread as I am having a problem trying to edit my avatar in Xbox. Did the Silverlight install from Microsoft's link yet still cannot view page to edit avatar. Using Edge browser.

    Thanks for the support message.

    Do you have Windows 10? If so, simply install the Xbox App and Avatar App via the OneStore and you can edit your Avatar on your Windows 10 PC.

    Also, in the future, please go ahead and post a new thread instead of replying to someone elses for help.

    Cannot edit avatar in Windows 8.1

    Do a search for microsoft silverlight and download the plugin for web browser firefox or internet explorer. I used the firefox browser. Then sign in to xbox.com. Click change avatar and it will let you do it. It won't ask to open games app after silverlight
    is loaded. You will see the avatar menu open.
