    Problem with setting Avatar up


    Bought new Xbox 0ne S 2weeks ago. Struggled with initial startup software dowload. Did an offline setup with USB. Now, cannot even set avatar up - Xbox drops connection. Internet connection on our side is fine.

    problem setting up account

    I have been trying to set up an account just connected to my the internet. the message I got is: Sorry there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to http//account.live.com to fix the problem. I just changed my gametag from PlatiumBard6
    to wildrivercat62. help please.

    Huge problem with setting up security proofs.

    FYI, there are three email addresses in the Xbox system for every account.



    1) The Microsoft Account, also known as the Windows Live ID, which is used to sign in at websites and download the profile to the Xbox. If that's wrong, you can keep using it until you have time to contact Xbox Support
    support.xbox.com/contact-us for help with your account. You can change that at
    account.live.com/summarypage.aspx by selecting Update Email Address



    2) The alternate email address which is where password reset messages are sent. You can see that at
    account.live.com/summarypage.aspx and change that by selecting Edit Security Info



    3) The billing contact email address where billing statements are sent to. You can see and change that at
    http://xbox.com/accounts by choosing Billing Contact Information



    2 & 3 can be the same. Ideally, 1 should not be 2 or 3 but it often is.

    We initially tried with a hard line and eventually setup a wireless connection too, to see if that would work. We only downloaded the Xbox app, as per setup instructions with the setup code provided by the console, and created a Microsoft account.

    We initially tried with a hard line and eventually setup a wireless connection too, to see if that would work. We only downloaded the Xbox app, as per setup instructions with the setup code provided by the console, and created a Microsoft account.

    It's the end of August and I'm having this problem as well... Even though I set up an avatar the avatar seen on the site is still the blank one, yet when I tried editing the Avatar, the recently edited one appeared... wow.
