Problem with serial number !

I have the problem that i can not register online the Elite Controller with the serial number.

there is " the serial number is invalid "

Can someone help ?

I think I may have solved the problem as I have just re read the registration bit. I'm assuming that you can only register your actual console and not the controllers? I'm guessing that the console serial number has the correct amount of digits for the site
form.

 

and the Serial number is longer

 

I have the same problem : the serial number of my xbox one controller pad is too long for the website.

 

i also wish to register my elite controller but get the error.

xbox one registered ok but elite controller serial number too long so shows invalid.

any help would be appreciated.

 

You can only register Console/Kinect devices. You can place service requests for accessories if you have a registered console (Xbox One for Xbox One accessories and Xbox 360 for 360 accessories). If you don't own the relevant console and don't have one registered
(accessory was purchased for PC) then keep the proof of purchase (invoice/receipt) and contact Xbox Support if you need service for the accessory in question. Based on that proof of purchase they should be able to help you.
